Enjoy the Experience
There is no need to sit frustrated in noisy waiting rooms for long periods of time, or feel pressurised trying on glasses surrounded by lots of other people.
Your eyes deserve the best quality care, but not only that – your choice of eyewear can have a huge impact on how confident you feel too.
At McConnachie Eyecare we put our customers first, with no commissions and no KPIs to be met.
Stuart McConnachie has been the proud owner of McConnachie Eyecare in Brechin, since April 2016. He qualified as an Optometrist in 2002 and is committed to continuing professional education. He was one of the first 5 optometrists in the UK to graduate Edinburgh University's Masters in Primary Care Ophthalmology in 2017.
Having completed his independent prescribing training in 2019 Stuart can manage a wide range of eye conditions in the community. He also works for the NHS doing children’s clinics and low vision clinics one day a week.
Stuart believes in providing the best care possible in friendly and comfortable surroundings. He offers a great range of glasses at fair prices with no complicated offers and no hard sell.
He is very involved with the local community and supports a number of local groups including Brechin Victoria Junior Football Club, Kirriemuir Netball Club, Team A Bryce Curling, Brechin Amateur Operatic Society and Brechin Pantry, the local food bank.
He is also a member of Brechin Road runners, Montvelo Cycling Club and Montrose Triathlon club.
